Matta Matta is a performance that does not stay on the mat. Three dancers move through an adventurous landscape of gym mats: large crash mats and puzzle mats transform into an ingenious stage design – at times a labyrinth with dangerously swaying walls, at times a tower, a sea of boats around an island, a hiding place, or the bed one has always dreamed of. Children are invited to move, rearrange and help shape the mats together with the dancers. In this way, they become part of the performance themselves. The choreography is lively, wild, playful and challenging. The performers impress with daring dance moves and powerfully show that boldness is only possible through mutual support.
